At Amtech, we strive for the highest level of quality. It is reflected in every aspect of our business, from the quoting process to the shipping of finished product. We’ve developed and provide clear and concise documents for quoting, shipping, certifications and inspections.
All our tools are designed with the latest in CAD/CAM software, integrating directly with our two state-of-the-art Makino wire EDM machines, as well as our HAAS CNC milling machine. These machines also directly support our rapid prototyping service as well as outside machining and wire EDM services.
Production is run on our Nilson Fourslide machines. These machines offer high production rate, repeatability and maintain close tolerances. We have retrofitted our fourslide machines with electronic control and monitoring devices to increase the efficiency of set-up and production as well as offer greater tooling protection. Together, these improvements allow us to increase production rates and reduce downtime, which means savings to our customers.
Our quality control is maintained using a wide array of precision measuring instruments, including our Nikon NEXIV metrology vision system. Each part we manufacture has its own database file with quality history and requirements that are clearly indicated on shop travelers, or work orders.

Our shipping and receiving department is equipped with two high-precision digital counting scales for superior parts count accuracy on all shipments. We use high-quality shipping supplies and packaging to help protect parts during transit.
